Beijing, December 4th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of political parties from Pakistan. 

Sun said, under the strategic guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the leaders of Pakistan, the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership has enjoyed steady advancement. The CPC is willing to work with all political parties in Pakistan to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance exchanges and mutual learning, and contribute to building a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. The fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, which was held recently, has made strategic plans for China's economic and social development in the next five years, which will bring major opportunities to Pakistan and other countries around the world. 

The Pakistani side said, maintaining friendship with China and promoting cooperation with China has always been a political consensus across political parties in Pakistan. China's remarkable development achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) have set an example of development for Pakistan and other countries. The Pakistani side looks forward to strengthening strategic alignment and expanding cooperation in various fields during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), and promoting new progress in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
