Chen Zhou Meets with a Delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam

Beijing, June 10thChen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of provincial- and ministerial-level officials of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Dang Hong Sy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee. 


Chen noted that this year marks the beginning of Chinas 15th Five-Year Plan and also the first year for Vietnam to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the CPV and embark on a new era of national development. China stands ready to work with Vietnam to fully implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries during the visit to China by To Lam, General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and President of Vietnam, in April this year. The two sides should maintain close high-level exchanges, enhance political mutual trust, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and promote the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance to a higher level.Chen also briefed the delegation on the CPC's education campaign to establish and practice a correct view on governance performance. 

Dang Hong Sy said that Vietnam is willing to work with China to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, carry forward the traditional friendship, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, effectively implement the inter-party cooperation plan, and deepen exchanges and mutual learning on experience in party governance and state administration in such areas as talent development, scientific and technological innovation, and digital transformation, so as to advance the building of the Vietnam-China community with a shared future to a higher level.
