Ma Hui Meets with Members of Seminar for Young Cadres of African Political Parties Themed on "Shaping the Future Together"

Beijing, June 11thMa Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with members of a seminar for young cadres of African political parties themed on "shaping the future together" led by Yanga Viwe Socikwa, member of the National Committee of Young Communist League of South Africa. 


Ma noted that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the opening of diplomatic relations between China and African countries and the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges. The CPC is willing to work with African political parties to strengthen exchanges at all levels, deepen exchanges and mutual learning, and consolidate the foundation of China-Africa friendship. It is hoped that African youth will actively devote themselves to the cause of China-Africa friendship and contribute their youthful strength to carrying forward the traditional friendship between China and Africa and building an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era. Ma also briefed the participants on the education campaign to establish and practice a correct view on governance performance, and said that China is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with African political parties on experience in party governance and state administration. 

The young representatives of African political parties highly commended China's achievements in economic and social development as well as the global significance and practical strength of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. They noted that Africa and China are not only trading partners, but also co-authors of a new chapter in global development. They expressed willingness to carry forward the traditional friendship between Africa and China, learn from China's valuable experience, and advance modernization in their respective countries.
